This clipping is from the Wiregrass Journal, March 16, 1933. According to the Library of Congress, The Wiregrass Journal ceased publication in 1935 and was succeeded by the Dothan Journal. The Wiregrass region is an area of Southeastern Alabama, Southwestern Georgia, and the Florida panhandle and is called that due to the presence of wire grass.
